CTP has recently named two new Managing Directors to lead their operations. As of March 1st, 2024, Piotr Flugel assumes the role of Managing Director for Poland, while Daniela Boytcheva takes on the position of Managing Director for Bulgaria.

Since joining CTP Poland as Country Construction Director & COO in March 2022, Piotr has played a pivotal role in driving forward numerous initiatives, including the establishment of a highly capable team geared towards delivering a substantial volume of industrial and logistics space annually. This strategic move aligns with CTP’s portfolio development strategy for Poland, which entails a projected total investment of €300 million for land acquisition and the commencement of new projects.

Currently, CTP boasts a portfolio of 15 complexes across Poland, each at different stages of development. Additionally, the company holds a vast land bank exceeding 2.9 million square meters, laying the groundwork for further expansion of its property portfolio.

In December 2023, CTP embarked on the construction of three new business parks in Poland, collectively offering over 215,000 square meters of leasable space. This significant development also signifies CTP’s foray into new regional markets within Poland, broadening its geographical footprint and market reach.

By the close of 2023, CTP had taken ownership and operational control of approximately 405,000 square meters of Gross Leasable Area (GLA) in Poland. Furthermore, the company had nearly 600,000 square meters of GLA currently under construction, underscoring its commitment to ongoing expansion and development within the Polish real estate market.

This milestone not only marked a significant achievement within Poland but also stood out across CTP’s global portfolio. The transaction involved a lease agreement for approximately 110,000 square meters at the CTPark Warsaw West complex, secured by Raben Group, a prominent player in the global logistics industry.

Piotr’s leadership and expertise played a pivotal role in facilitating this monumental transaction. His strategic insights and deep understanding of the market dynamics enabled the successful negotiation and execution of the lease agreement. By leveraging his extensive network and industry knowledge, Piotr navigated complexities and ensured a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties involved.

Moreover, Piotr’s commitment to sustainable development shone through in the recognition garnered by the ILL5 building at the CTPark Ilowa complex. Under his guidance, the building earned the prestigious ‘Excellent’ BREEAM International New Construction certificate in 2023. This accolade underscored the project’s adherence to stringent sustainability standards and its exemplary environmental performance.

The achievement was particularly noteworthy due to various commendable aspects of the building’s design and construction. Notably, the building showcased exceptional water-saving features, achieving a remarkable reduction in water consumption by over 54%. This accomplishment exemplified Piotr’s dedication to incorporating sustainable practices into the development of logistics parks, contributing positively to environmental conservation efforts.

Piotr’s vision extends beyond mere business transactions; he is committed to fostering sustainable growth and innovation within the logistics industry. By championing environmentally responsible practices and initiatives, he not only elevates the standards within the sector but also reinforces CTP’s reputation as a leader in sustainable development.
